As of April 1st, 2018, Chelsea Green Community Church officially opened it’s doors to the community!
I know this blog has been rather quiet as of late. It’s been an amazingly busy / humbling / encouraging past few months here at CGCC. God is so good, and He has come through in so many ways.

In the few weeks before launch, we blanketed our community with flyers inviting everyone out to a BBQ / Open House – and we were absolutely blown away by the response. We had about 100 people from the neighbourhood come and share a meal with us.
There were a ton of kids, conversations, face painting, balloon animals, and more hot dogs and burgers than I’ve ever seen cooked up in one afternoon.
It was great to rub shoulders with our community; there are so many wonderful people who live here in Chelsea Green.
Thanks to our awesome neighbours (YFC London) for lending us a HUGE BBQ!
The Grand Opening
The following week, it was go-time.
Easter Sunday. A little over a year of prep and promo and prayer.
Our launch team all showed up early to get things in order, and at 10am we opened our doors and waited for people to arrive.
Again, God came through LARGE. We were absolutely rammed for space. There were lots of smiles on the faces of our guests, and especially our launch team.

Derek and I managed to snap off a (blurry, but you get the idea) selfie too.
