CGCC is a brand new church plant in the historic neighbourhood of Chelsea Green. Our building has been home to various churches since 1953, and our hope and prayer is for CGCC to serve as a hub for this wonderful and diverse little corner of London, Ontario.
Our mission as a church is to…
Seek the Lost
Grow in Christ
Build Our Community

Originally from Eel Ground First Nation in New Brunswick, Peter and his wife, Samantha, have four children; Judah, Madeline, Charlotte, and Sydney. Peter and Samantha live in Chelsea Green, and have been actively involved in the community, developing strong ties with many individuals and families in the area. While finishing up his MDiv at Northwest Baptist Seminary, Peter has been involved with the Chelsea Green Neighbourhood Association, and has been building connections with various organizations that serve the area. Peter has a heart for community outreach, preaching, and evangelism. When not working with CGCC, Peter can usually be found cruising around London on his bicycle.
Derek and his wife, Ashley, are originally from Northwestern Ontario. Derek is a recent grad of Heritage Seminary and is working towards a certificate in biblical counseling from CCEF. Before moving to London, Derek was working in homecare management. He also lived in Southeast Asia for 5 years, working as an ESL teacher. In February 2017, Derek and Ashley welcomed their first child, Aubrey, to the family. Derek has been serving as Pastoral Assistant at Summerside Church since 2015 where he was involved with worship, hospitality, and discipleship ministries. Derek and Ashley have a passion for church planting and are excited to see the gospel change Chelsea Green..
In addition to our pastoral staff, we also rely heavily on a dedicated group of volunteers who help out with everything from greeting our guests and making coffee for Sunday Service to managing our finances and building maintenance.
If you want to get involved with Chelsea Green Community Church as a volunteer, contact one of the pastoral staff and set up a time to sit down and chat. We’d love to get to know you more.
