Hello CGCC Church Family;
With the Omicron variant spreading quite rapidly in the city and province, there have been a number of folks in our community who have fallen ill.
As of today, we know of only one person who tested positive for Covid19 from our church, however, the exposure did not take place in our church, they were in voluntary self-isolation, and did not attend church services for the last two weeks, including Christmas Eve.
As we’ve said in the past, if anyone is exhibiting symptoms of an illness we would urge you to stay home. The health unit is suggesting folks who do feel sick to assume it is Covid19 and remain home for ten days.
And so, out of an abundance of caution, we will be suspending in-person service for January 2nd, and resuming on January 8th, 2022.
We will be having a service online, so please join us at chelseagreen.online.church.
We are praying for all of you in this difficult time that is full of uncertainties. We are not yet out of the woods with this pandemic, so out of love and concern for our brothers and sisters, let’s remain vigilant in doing our best to protect those who may be vulnerable during this Christmas season.
