Folks, we are very excited about this first outreach event.
The idea is simple:
- Get some people to bring rakes and yard waste bags to Chelsea Green Community Church
- Send these people out to rake and bag leaves for our neighbours
- Well, that’s it… didn’t actually need this third bullet point.
What an amazingly easy way to bless our neighbours here in Chelsea Green.
There will be lunch provided for those who come out.
This event will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at 9am at Chelsea Green Community Church, 123 Chesterfield Avenue in London
However, if our weather continues to be quite warm, and the leaves don’t actually fall off the trees, we will reschedule this event accordingly. Climbing up the trees to remove the leaves by hand isn’t something our insurance covers.
